How to improve service and safety for the patient? 
Updating patients’ files is a time consuming process that delays the availability of current medical data to other healthcare professionals, sometimes up to 24 hours after treatment.

The challenge

Create an environment to ensure that all medical data is directly available to all professionals involved in an instant, using an intelligent combination of existing and proven technology. The current Emergency Rooms have limited space for additional hardware, so the solution needs to be implemented within the existing infrastructure.

Wireless, RFID and speech-recognition fully integrated using Biztalk for data exchange would do the trick.

The Wireless Emergency Room was implemented at the UMC Medical Center and proved its case. The Wireless Healthcare Solution provides:
